Depending on your site, you may need to utilize subdomains. These are sites which utilize your main domain name, but with a word instead of www. (For example, hosting.cirustech.com, whereas the main domain name would be www.cirustech.com.)
1. Log in to Cpanel (Click here)
2. Scroll down to the "Domains" section.
3. Click on "Subdomains"
4. At this point, you will see a form with the following:
Subdomain: (Enter the name of your subdomain here.)
You will also see a drop down box which will let you select which domain you want the subdomain to utilize. If you only have one domain, the choice is easy. If you have more than one domain, select which one you want from the list.
Document Root: (This field is the root folder for your subdomain, where all the files pertaining to this domain will go. Cpanel automatically fills this in for you with the subdomain you entered so you shouldn't need to change a thing.
5. Click Create
That's it! Your subdomain will be set up and ready to go. Don't forget to put your files into the folder you indicated above so that visitors will be able to see your content.
